The MERIT Center (Tier II Regional Training Center) is a 53 acre, state of the art, regional fire and rescue training facility located in Marshall, MN. The facility is owned by the City of Marshall, and operated by Minnesota West Community and Technical College. The MERIT Center offers a wide variety of training opportunities to emergency responders, as well as, the private industry.

Mission

To provide current, applicable training to emergency response agencies and business/industry for the purpose of strengthening and reinforcing the ability of emergency response agencies to pretect their communities and to assist business and industry in meeting and exceeding set safety standards. To accomplish this training in a safe environment and to supply the most technologically current props and settings possible. To provide this training to all who express an intrest in opportunities offered and to do so in the most cost effective method possible.
